American Midwest Ballet presents “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” on April 11 & 12 at Hoff Family Arts & Culture Center in Council Bluffs and April 18 & 19 at the Orpheum Theater in Omaha. Performances are on April 11 & 18 at 7:30 p.m., April 12 & 19 at 2 p.m.

Synapsis: Shakespeare’s most-beloved romantic comedy springs to life in this delightful ballet! Feuding fairies and mismatched lovers collide in the Forest of Arden, leading to a busy night of comic confusion and dazzling dance, set to Felix Mendelssohn’s enchanting score. It’s a merry affirmation that with the right kind of magic on your side, true love can conquer all!
