Big Lake Park

NOTE: The playground equipment will be removed in Fall 2026 to be replaced with new boat-themed equipment inspired by the park’s connection to the water and outdoors. The larger playground will help compensate for the removal of the playground on the north side after the 2019 flood. Playground will have new resilient rubber safety surfacing for improved accessibility and safety, an additional picnic shelter, and a new off-street concrete trail extension connecting the railroad bridge near Joslin Avenue into the park.
