You’d think I’d have heard of Brent Rasmussen before 2020. The Omaha native was captain of the U.S. Men’s Sitting Volleyball team and the U.S. Wheelchair Softball team. And, as a member of the Omaha Barons wheelchair softball team, he has gone on to win 13 World Series titles. Needless to say, he’d been mentioned in the news more than once. But I met him first when my husband and I were buying a house. Brent also happens to own Mortgage Specialists.

Dee and I sat down with Brent recently and talked about so many things, from adaptive recreation and being an elite athlete to the fact that Brent has a wine cellar of more than 5,000 bottles and he knows A LOT about wine and where to find the good stuff in Omaha. It was a fascinating interview!
