Monarch Place

This park has a lot to offer (as far as play equipment open space), and is in a beautiful neighborhood. As of May 2026, there is construction nearby and parking isn’t ideal (extremely limited because it is already street-parking only, but there were a lot of cars parked although we were the only ones in the actual park). This, combined with no restrooms, makes me hesitant to recommend this park until construction ends.

Mockingbird Hills Park

Though it’s one of the smallest parks around, it’s little hidden gem for toddlers who don’t like a big busy park. It’s the perfect “sweet spot” for little ones to enjoy the swings or hop on the cute dinosaur spring riders. Between the soft sand and the shady trees, it’s an ideal spot for a quick, breezy afternoon break.

Millard Highlands Park

Millard Highlands Park’s playground is better suited for older kids, but it’s still a fun spot that has clearly been well-loved while also being well maintained. This park also offers lots of opportunities for sports and recreation. it’s a great community park with a little something for everyone.
