Winter Birding Walk

Learn about the birds who brave the winters at Fontenelle Forest. Bring your binoculars (or borrow a pair from Fontenelle) and learn about some of the forest’s seven species of woodpeckers. Search for splashes of color from cardinals or nuthatches! This hike will largely stick to the boardwalk and focus on identifying birds that inhabit the forest during winter. This program is recommended for people ages 12+.
$10 – $25
$10 for members and $25 for non-members (price includes daily admission). Pre-registration is required.
