Negro Leagues & Black Baseball Storytelling Series

Join Freedomtainment during the Omaha Freedom Festival CWS weekend for a powerful storytelling experience celebrating African Americans contributions to baseball. Hear live stories and dialogue with Coach Wilbert Ellis, Ralph Garr, and possible guest Dusty Baker, plus view rare artifacts and memorabilia. Featuring artifacts from the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum and the Great Plains Black History Museum.

The event will be facilitated by Brenda Council, former Nebraska State Senator and Bob Kendrick President of the Negro League Museum. Meet at the Gene Leahy Mall Pavilion.
