Essex Park
Description
Essex Park is a small park with a very small playground. The equipment is nice and new looking. The downside to this park is its close proximity to a fairly busy street.
There isn’t much to the playground. The main equipment has a swirly and a bumpy slide, and a little climbing wall to get onto it. There are two dinosaur bouncers, and nearby, there’s a swing set with two baby swings two traditional swings. The ground cover is a mix of sand and rubber. It’s a very well-shaded playground.

- Street parking only. You can't park on South 36th Street, so your best option is to park on Washington Street just to the north.
- Like most neighborhood playgrounds, there are no restrooms.
