Christmas Bird Count

Learn about this history of the Christmas Bird Count then enjoy naturalist-guided bird count on the trails or boardwalk. You can also opt to count birds inside by the bird feeders. Binoculars available to borrow on a first-come, first-served basis; you’re encouraged you to bring your own.
After the count is finished, there will be hot chocolate and coffee in the Forest Room as the results are tallied. This is a family-friendly event, and there will also be crafts and coloring pages for children available. Included with admission.
