Sunset On Summer

Schramm Park says goodbye to summer on Aug. 23 with a fun event featuring nature programs and outdoor activities. The Schramm Education Center and Treehouse Classroom will both be open late until 8 pm. Bring a lawn chair and listen to live music from Mark Irvin Music.
Food will be available for purchase including Bison Burger and Hotdog meals for $6 each. Ice cream will be available for purchase from Black Cow Dairy.
Activities include:
- Round Rafting, Kayaking, and Canoeing on the Hatchery Ponds
- Kids Fishing (ages 15 and under)
- Geology Activity at the Geological Outcrop
- Pond Dipping
- Live Reptiles & Amphibians
- Dutch Oven Cooking Demonstration
- The Treehouse Classroom and Schramm Education Center will be open from 5 to 8 p.m.
- Naturalists will lead a night hike from 8 to 9 p.m.
This is a free event, but a state park vehicle permit is required in the park.
