The city of Fremont celebrates John C. Fremont Days from July 11-13. Highlights include:
- Rodeo at Christensen Field on Friday & Saturday at 7:30 p.m.
- Living History at Clemmons Park is Friday from noon to 7 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Omaha Children’s Museum “Block Party” exhibit at Fremont City Auditorium, Friday from noon to 8 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 4 p.m.
- Kennedy’s Cruises on Main Car, Truck and Bike Show in Downtown Fremont on Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Kids Parade is Saturday at 9 a.m. at Midland University Campus
- Lemonade on the Lawn at Keene Memorial Library on Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon
- Gen. John C. Fremont Look-A-Like Contest, at Milady Coffeehouse on Saturday at 2:30 p.m.
- Historical Community Parade starting at First and Main streets on Sunday at 1:30 p.m.
