National Night Out 2025
August 5, 2025 @ 5:00 pm – 8:30 pm
National Night Out events will be held throughout the Omaha Metro hosted by first responders. More events will be announced.
Planned events:
- Council Bluffs – 5 to 8:30 p.m. at River’s Edge Park (free parking at 4200 River’s Edge Parkway). Food, face painting, raffle prizes, bike events, a K9 demonstration, a helicopter landing, and more.
- Papillion – Papillion Police Department hosts their event at Halleck Park, 600 E. Halleck St., Papillion, Neb., starting at 6 p.m. with food trucks, presentations and free Dairy Queen (while supplies lats). Foam party will run from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
- Bellevue – 6 to 8 p.m. at Everett Park, 1701 Betz Road. Free hamburgers, bounce houses and clowns. Plus check out police vehicles & equipment up close.
- La Vista – 6 to 8 p.m. at Central Park & Clubhouse, 8305 Park View Blvd. “Touch-a-truck” with first responder vehicles, a greeting from Mayor Kindig, face painters and activities, free treats, plenty of safety information and demonstrations.
- Blair – Blair Police Department celebrates from 6 to 8 p.m. at Generations Park with a special meet & greet with local police officers, sheriff’s deputies, and firefighters, as well as a dunk tank, live music, and hot dogs.
- Morton Meadows – 6:30 p.m. at Twin Ridge Boulevard and Woolworth Avenue
