Holland Talks: J. Drew Lanham

Renowned birder, naturalist, and hunter-conservationist J. Drew Lanham will present a discussion on the convergence of nature, culture, and conservation for the Holland Talks series. A 2022 MacArthur Fellow, Lanham is the author of “The Home Place: Memoirs of a Colored Man’s Love Affair With Nature” and “Joy is the Justice We Give Ourselves.” His award-winning writing asserts that conservation must be a rigorous science and evocative art, inviting diversity and race to play active roles in celebrating our natural world.

Tickets are $20; Luminarium members pay $15. Space is limited for this special evening.

Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and the talk starts at 7. Tickets include free admission to the museum before the talk.
