Pride Lunch & Learn Series

Pride Lunch & Learn Series is two events at Metro Community College. Bring a lunch, bring your curiosity, and show up for pride.
The first event is July 8 with Dr. A.T. Miller, Interim Executive Director of Out Nebraska, as they lead a powerful presentation and discussion on the History of Pride and the ongoing fight for LGBTQIA+ advocacy. Meet at Elkhorn Valley Campus in Room 114.
The second event is July 16 featuring the powerful short documentary, “Lou’s Legacy: A Reporter’s Life at the Washington Blade,” followed by an engaging discussion with Dr. Chad Stuart Owsley, Assistant Professor of Communication in Emerging Media Studies at UNO. Meet at the Fort Omaha Campus Building 10, Room 110.
