Omaha Community Playhouse stages “Come From Away” Sept. 11 through Oct. 11.
- Stage & Story (Pre-Show Discussion) is Sept. 17 from 6:30 7:15 p.m. on the secondnd level of the Lobby area. It’s a deep dive into the creative process and inspiration behind “Come From Away.”
- Relaxed Performance is Oct. 2. A relaxed performance is an inclusive theatrical experience designed to be welcoming to individuals with neurodiverse needs and those attending with them.
Synopsis: When the world stops, a small town opens its doors. The inspiring true story of 7,000 strangers from around the globe stranded in Gander, Newfoundland in the aftermath of September 11, 2001, proving community can become home when humanity leads the way.
