Council Bluffs Hydrant Parties

The Council Bluffs Fire Department hosts hydrant parties around the city on Tuesdays and Thursdays throughout the summer. Council Bluffs Water Works provides the water and Centris Federal Credit Union provides the frozen treats.

  • June 12: 21st Avenue & S Ninth Street
  • June 17: Baldwin Circle
  • June 19: North 42nd & Avenue B
  • June 24: Margaret Avenue
  • June 26: Spruce and Poplar Streets
  • July 1: Lake Street & Arnold Avenue
  • July 3: Curtis Street & Avenue F
  • July 8: Goshawk Street
  • July 10: 2400 S. 19th St.
  • July 15: W. Happy Hollow & Jim Brown Parkway
  • July 17: South 33rd Street & Third Avenue
  • July 22: Berwick Circle
  • July 24: Chippewa Lane & 32nd Avenue
