Night Sky Adventure

The inflatable STARLAB dome will be at various Omaha Public Library branches this summer. Learn about the stars, planets, asteroids, comets, light speed, light years, our galaxy and our solar system. Journey to the far away constellations of Greek Mythology and Native American lore. There will be interactive stations to explore all things cosmic while waiting for your show to begin.

There will be three 30-minute STARLAB shows throughout the program with a maximum of 30 people per time slot. Recommended for ages 8 and older. Registration is required for some locations

• June 11 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Swanson Branch (call 402-444-4852 or email [email protected] to register for this event; registration opens May 15)
• June 29 from noon to 1:30 p.m. at Sorensen Branch (held in the gym on the first floor of the community center)
• July 12 from 1 to 3 p.m. at Abrahams Branch (Register by emailing [email protected] or calling 402-444-6284. Registration opens June 15)
