Birthday Restaurants In Omaha

My parents let me and my siblings pick our birthday meals. I took that as a challenge. I had to find the most exotic place in Omaha and make them eat a meal there.

“Exotic” to a teenager was Indian Oven and España. They were memorable meals for many reasons; the most memorable being that one night we all had gastrointestinal problems following a delicious meal.

I think that marked the end of my birthday culinary adventures with Mom and Dad.

Anyway…

My birthday’s tomorrow. Where shall I dine?

But, before we get to celebrate me tomorrow, let’s celebrate my mom! Today’s her birthday.

It’s a milestone one, too, so if you see Mama Sue out and about, wish her a happy birthday.

And tell her I’ve found a few restaurants I’d like try.

Pretty much every birthday in my family, we go to Famous Daves. Recently, though, my daughter wants to be different and go to Applebee's. I'm thinking we will let her choose her birthday restaurant now that she's getting older.
