Frida y Diego Community Art Show runs from April 12 through May 23, and features work by more than 25 local artists. Participating artists were asked to submit works influenced by the relationship of Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera, their artistic endeavors, or Día de Los Muertos. The opening reception is April 12 from 4 to 9 p.m.
The show is inspired by Opera Omaha’s “El último sueño de Frida y Diego” and presented by
Wicked Raven Productions, Opera Omaha and Joslyn Castle. It’s held at Carriage House Gallery at Joslyn Castle.
