Bonsai And Ikebana Exhibition

Lauritzen Gardens hosts the Nebraska Bonsai Society’s spring exhibition May 1-3. Explore the art of bonsai through a unique display of specimens from members’ private collections, including conifer, deciduous, and tropical trees. Society members will be available to answer questions, and select pre-bonsai plant material and bonsai supplies will be available for purchase (cash only).

The annual Ikebana exhibition will also be on view, featuring arrangements from both classical and contemporary schools of Japanese flower arranging. Members of Ikebana International Omaha No. 60 will be present during show hours to meet guests, share insights, and answer questions about the captivating art of Ikebana.

Both exhibitions are included with garden admission.
