The Midwest PirateFest is Aug. 23 & 24, featuring five stages of unique performances plus a hundred pirate characters, mermaids, fairy folk, and even a crew from Her Majesty’s “Royal Navy.” There will be games of skill and luck, as well as interactive activities, demonstrations, and free kid’s crafts. Shop vendors or take part in the $100 in cash treasure hunt.

The Midwest Pirate Fest has all the trappings you expect to see at such a celebration: An interactive pirate ship, sword play, pirate performers, fencing lessons, shows with fire, treasure hunts, rum, savory vittles, and unsavory characters. Kids are always welcome, there’s lots for them to do.

$9 – $15 $15 for adults, $9 for kids (tickets are $2 more at the door)
