DESCRIPTION:This Omaha Public Library storyteller event is free and open to ages 19+. Do you have a favorite adventure you’ve ever had\, or an adventure that didn’t go quite the way you thought it would? Prepare a 5-8 minute story about your experience and come share with the crowd. All participants will be awarded a superlative award! \nTerrified of the stage? We need audience members to cheer on our storytellers. \nStoryteller Ground Rules: \n\nFollow the theme: Adventure Is Out There\nStories must be based on life.\nStories should not exceed 8 minutes.\nVisual aides and artifacts encouraged.\n\nThis is a free event for adults 19+.  \nStorytellers are encouraged to sign up here ahead of time. Walk-in storytellers will be permitted if time allows.

DESCRIPTION:Join the Omaha Public Library for a fun-filled interactive movie experience and watch the movie “Super Mario Bros.” It will start with a read-aloud of a book\, followed by crafts (while supplies last) and activities during the movie. Families may bring blankets and pillows\, and food is allowed with the expectation that each family will clean up after themselves. \nMeeting room doors will open at 12:30 p.m. with the movie starting at 1 p.m. Registration is required.
