Mahoney State Park present three melodramas this summer: “Peril of the Storm\,” “Baron’s Revenge” and “Troll of Trafalgar.” Performances take place at the Denman and Mary Mallory Kountze Memorial Theatre inside the park. For tickets\, call (402) 944-2957. \n\n\n\nSynopsis: “Peril of the Storm\,” by D. ChapelleWally Wessel was once an inept small town mayor who grew up to be a totally inept governor! On a dark and stormy night Governor Wally Wessel and his bodyguard\, Trooper Duper take refuge at Moldmaster Manor\, a spooky old house inhabited by wealthy Mordred Moldmaster\, his daughter Amberleigh\, Mordred’s evil brother Cringe and Cringe’s scheming wife Ophelia. The governor and Trooper Duper are seeking shelter from a deadly storm but are unaware that they are in more danger within than without. Mordred has disinherited Cringe and Ophelia\, leaving all of his vast fortune to daughter Amberleigh. Cringe and his wife Ophelia will do anything\, yes anything\, to gain control of the estate\, including disposing of the Governor\, Mordred\, Amberleigh\, Duper or anybody else foolish enough to stand in their way! \n\n\n\n“Baron’s Revenge\,” by D. ChapelleThe great great great grand-nephew of the infamous Doctor Frankenstein has grown tired of his colleagues and the scornful public at large. Will Frankenstein’s beautiful financee\, Emma Wright become entangled in the evil? Will the law of the land\, Constable Von Constable\, be able to stop the doctor before the monster is unleashed? On a dark and stormy night Governor Wally Wessel and his bodyguard\, Trooper Duper take refuge at Moldmaster Manor\, a spooky old house inhabited by wealthy Mordred Moldmaster\, his daughter Amberleigh\, Mordred’s evil brother Cringe and Cringe’s scheming wife Ophelia. The governor and Trooper Duper are seeking shelter from a deadly storm but are unaware that they are in more danger within than without. Mordred has disinherited Cringe and Ophelia\, leaving all of his vast fortune to daughter Amberleigh. The governor and Trooper Duper are seeking shelter from a deadly storm but are unaware that they are in more danger within than without. Mordred has disinherited Cringe and Ophelia\, leaving all of his vast fortune to daughter Amberleigh.
