DESCRIPTION:Join the Omaha Astronomical Society for a magical evening of stargazing at Lauritzen Gardens. Enjoy a tram ride to the rose garden\, where you’ll view the gorgeous night sky through powerful telescopes. Using the society’s telescopes\, observe distant deep-sky objects\, planets\, and the moon in a dark\, yet serene garden setting. \n\n\n\nNote: These outdoor experiences require specific conditions for optimum viewing. In the event of inclement weather or unsuitable conditions for night sky viewing\, the session may be rescheduled. \n\n\n\nProgram is designed for ages 16 and older. Pre-registration is required at least one week in advance of the session.

DESCRIPTION:All-European Show and Shine showcases fine European cars and motorcycles\, including models of Jaguar\, Porsche\, Mercedes-Benz\, Ducati\, BMW\, Ferrari\, Pantera\, Alfa Romeo\, Austin Healey and others surrounded by the beauty of the fall garden.  \n\n\n\nThe cars are exhibited to the northwest of the rose garden (the furthest part of the garden away from the visitor and education center) and the show ends promptly at 3 p.m. Guests are encouraged to arrive at the event early enough to account for walking times to reach the show site (the staging location takes approximately 20 to 30 minutes to reach by foot\, depending on the speed of the walker). \n\n\n\nAdmission to the event is included with paid garden admission or membership.
