DESCRIPTION:Merry & Bright: Holiday Poinsettia Show at Lauritzen Gardens runs Nov. 28 through Jan. 4\, 2026. Whether it’s a visit to the iconic 20-foot-tall poinsettia tree\, a tour through the lush conservatory to see the holiday express\, roasting marshmallows on the festival garden patio\, or finding the perfect gift in the gift shop\, there is a natural magic at Lauritzen Gardens that makes the season Merry & Bright.  \n\n\n\nThe festive foliage of the iconic 20-foot-tall poinsettia tree will add holiday magic to the show and the whir and whistle of model garden trains will create a joyful noise in the floral display hall and in the conservatory. \n\n\n\nAdd S’more joy to your visit by toasting a marshmallow at the fire pits in the Family Chill Zone. This gathering place gives families a place to relax\, warm up\, play games\, and enjoy the winter weather. S’mores kits will be available for purchase at the front desk. \n\n\n\nThe last daytime garden entry will be at 2 p.m. Guests must complete their visit and exit the visitor and education center by 3 p.m. Daytime tickets DO NOT include admission to Bright Nights. \n\n\n\nMerry & Bright is included with gardens admission and is free for members.

DESCRIPTION:Cacao Ceremony is Nov. 6 at 6 p.m. at Lauritzen Gardens. The ceremony is a spiritual and meditative event lasting 90 minutes\, with a focus on releasing negative energy to increase relaxation\, creativity\, and focus. It is centered around the consumption of ceremonial grade cacao\, a gentle plant medicine (think hot chocolate) that is full of essential minerals and rich in antioxidants like flavonoids that help protect the body from oxidative stress and inflammation. During the ceremony the cacao is chopped and melted into a drink to be sipped on\, accompanied by a combination of guided meditation\, breath work\, and journaling.
