DESCRIPTION:By day\, Lauritzen Gardens is decorated for the Holiday Poinsettia Show\, but on select nights this season\, the gardens will be aglow for “Bright Nights.” The event will be held on select evenings from 4 to 9 p.m. on Nov. 28-30\, Dec. 3-7\, 10-23\, 26-31\, and Jan. 2-4. \nThe floral display hall\, Marjorie K. Daugherty Conservatory\, and NEW seasonal features in Sofia’s Play Garden will be adorned and enhanced with light as the garden extends its hours to celebrate the beauty of the season. From a 20′ tall poinsettia tree to a tropical paradise\, see festive installations that glow and shine\, showcasing nature in a new light. \nFamily Fun Nights: \n\nSpecial activities including seasonal crafts\, face painting\, and story time will be on Nov. 30\, and Dec. 3-4\, 7\, 10-11\, 14\, 17-18\, and 21.\n\nSanta Stops Here: \n\nSanta will be visiting to spread holiday cheer each evening Nov. 28 through Dec. 23. Santa Paws will visit for pictures with pets on Sunday\, Dec. 7\, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.\n\nTickets are $18-22 for ages 13 and up\, $8-12 for ages 3-12; members receive a discount. Reservations are required. \n

Whether it’s a visit to the iconic 20-foot-tall poinsettia tree\, a tour through the lush conservatory to see the holiday express\, roasting marshmallows on the festival garden patio\, or finding the perfect gift in the gift shop\, there is a natural magic at Lauritzen Gardens that makes the season Merry & Bright.  \n\n\n\nThe festive foliage of the iconic 20-foot-tall poinsettia tree will add holiday magic to the show and the whir and whistle of model garden trains will create a joyful noise in the floral display hall and in the conservatory. \n\n\n\nAdd S’more joy to your visit by toasting a marshmallow at the fire pits in the Family Chill Zone. This gathering place gives families a place to relax\, warm up\, play games\, and enjoy the winter weather. S’mores kits will be available for purchase at the front desk. \n\n\n\nThe last daytime garden entry will be at 2 p.m. Guests must complete their visit and exit the visitor and education center by 3 p.m. Daytime tickets DO NOT include admission to Bright Nights. \n\n\n\nMerry & Bright is included with gardens admission and is free for members.
