Performances are June 30 and July 1. Ticket proceeds go to support the actors and actresses of Flatwater as well as scholarships for K-12 students in the Omaha area endeavoring to bring Shakespeare to a modern world.  \n2023 Schedule: \n\nThe June 30th performances is tickets — $20-$25 for adults\, and free for children up to eighth grade. Stephen M. Buhler\, Resident Scholar of Flatwater Shakespeare Co. and the Aaron Douglas Professor of English at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln\, will present the lecture “Shakespeare’s Elemental Spirits and Faerie Folklore” at 6:30 p.m. prior to the performance. \nThe July 1st performance is a public performance and is free with reservations.

DESCRIPTION:Joslyn Castle & Gardens and the Omaha Public Library hold story time at the castle on the third Monday of the month from May to September. A youth librarian from Omaha Public Library reading classic fairy tales from around the globe. After story time\, kids will reenact the tales using costumes\, props\, and the castle gardens as our land of imagination. Stories are best suited for ages 2 to 8.
