Some weekends, you just need to find something free to do because, I dunno, maybe you got a little too crazy on Amazon Prime Day and you’re still feeling the hurt. Whatever your reason, this weekend there is a lot of free things to do in Omaha.

Offutt Open House & Air Show
When: Saturday and Sunday, 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Where: Offutt Air Base
Why: It’s back! Everybody loves a good air show and this one’s back on after ending in 2014. They’re promising 4½ hours of air show (including the jets, parachuters). All FREE.
Who’d like it: Kids of all ages; families on a budget; kids obsessed with planes
Kids 4 Kids “Toy Story” Screening
When: Saturday, 7:30 p.m. (movie begins at dusk)
Where: Sumtur Amphitheater, 11691 S. 108th St., Papillion, Neb.
Why: A FREE movie with space for your kids to run around and games to play? What’s not to love? Your kids are going to sleep well that night. Donations benefit Child Saving Institute.
Who’d like this: Kids who can stay up late; families on a budget
Learning on the Lake
When: Sunday, 2 to 5 p.m.
Where: Lake Zorinsky Park, 3808 S. 156th St.
Why: You’re an outdoorsy bunch and you want to learn something new. And it’s FREE.
Who’d like it: Outdoorsy types; active families; families on a budget.
