DESCRIPTION:On Thursday evenings from the spring (around April or May) through the late fall (usually until Halloween)\, Council Bluffs and Omaha cyclists meet at Iowa West Foundation Trailhead Park and head off on the Wabash Trace Nature Trail on a 20-mile round-trip ride for tacos and drinks at Tobey Jack’s Mineola Steak House. There is a stopping point midway\, nicknamed Margaritaville. \nThe Taco Ride is a weekly event during most of the year\, weather permitting. Trail pass is required. Annual trail passes are $20.

DESCRIPTION:It’s a different crowd when the sun goes down. Come experience our version of nightlife at the most interesting cocktail hour in town. Adults 21 and over can join Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium for a relaxed evening of drinks\, local food truck cuisine and wildlife as we host our Late Nights at the Zoo summer event series from 7 to 10:30 p.m. on select Thursday nights May through August. \nThese events are for guests ages 21 and older with a valid photo ID. Entry will not be allowed without a valid photo ID. No outside beverages are allowed to be brought on to Zoo property. And if their new routine is good enough\, they’ll claw their way to the top at the Boogie Crown Grand Prix Finals in Tampa Bay. A 2019 Pulitzer Prize finalist for drama\, “Dance Nation” is a stark\, unrelenting exploration of female power featuring a multigenerational cast of women portraying our 13-year-old heroines. \nPerformances are Thursdays through Saturdays at 7:30 p.m.; Sundays\, June 4 & 11 at 6 p.m.; and Sunday\, June 18\, at 2 p.m. \nNote: ASL Performance is June 1.
