DESCRIPTION:Kiewit Luminarium’s Science In The Park brings interactive museum experiences to The RiverFront on Friday and Saturday. The pop up science exhibits are Friday from 1 to 4 p.m. at the 13th Street Plaza at Gene Leahy Mall and Saturday from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Arrival Plaza at Lewis & Clark Landing. \n\n\n\nIt will also be held on June 17 from 1 to 4 p.m. at Lewis & Clark Landing. \n\n\n\nDuring these engagements the Luminarium will also be sharing 50% off museum admission coupons!

SUMMARY:Beetles In The Wetlands: Community Science Day
DESCRIPTION:Omaha Bug Symposium and Fontenelle Forest will lead a short night hike on easy terrain to search for beetles\, millipedes\, and other creepy crawlies that come out at night in the Wetlands. End the night examining the creatures that visit the light trap.  \n\n\n\nLong pants and bug spray are HIGHLY encouraged. They recommend that participants bring their own flashlights or headlamps or borrow some on a first-come\, first-served basis. There are no facilities at the Wetlands\, so plan accordingly. \n\n\n\nThis program is geared toward adults and families with science-minded children due to the upper-level concepts and activities we will be engaging with.
