SUMMARY:Winterland Ice Skating - Ugly Sweater Skate
DESCRIPTION:Winterland Ice Skating at Heartwood Park runs from Nov. 1 through Feb. 1\, 2026. Ice skating and skate rentals are free\, courtesy of Applied Underwriters. Visitors can view the schedule and reserve their 90-minute skating sessions now. While reservations are encouraged\, a limited number of walk-ups will be accommodated on a first-come\, first-served basis.  \n\n\n\nWinterland\n\n\n\nWinterland at Heartwood Preserve will once again be set against a backdrop of holiday decorations and festive music\, and on weekends\, a local coffee truck will be onsite serving up seasonal beverages and treats to help guests stay warm between laps on the ice. \n\n\n\nFrom Nov. 1-23 and Jan. 9-Feb. 1\, it’s weekend-only skating on Friday\, Saturday and Sunday. From Nov. 28-Jan. 4\, ice skating will be open daily. SUMMARY:Full Moon Hike
DESCRIPTION:Have you ever hiked under a full moon? Or wondered what comes out after dark in the Forest? Find out on a Fontenelle Forest guided Full Moon Hike! Hikes will begin no later than 30 minutes after the event start time\, so be sure to arrive on time. All hikes will include an educational discussion of the nocturnal animals around the Forest and a brief talk into the lore of full moons. The event will include a bonfire and s’mores. \nThis event is $15 for Fontenelle Forest members and $25 for non-members.
