DESCRIPTION:Have you ever hiked under a full moon? Or wondered what comes out after dark in the Forest? Find out on a Fontenelle Forest guided Full Moon Hike! Hikes will begin no later than 30 minutes after the event start time\, so be sure to arrive on time. All hikes will include an educational discussion of the nocturnal animals around the Forest and a brief talk into the lore of full moons. The event will include a bonfire and s’mores. \nThis event is $15 for Fontenelle Forest members and $25 for non-members. DESCRIPTION:Little Learners: Seasonal Science is a new program at Fontenelle Forest where participants will discuss what animals do as the seasons change\, and explore science stations focused on the spring or fall. There will be a hike looking for spring shoots or falling leaves\, and kids will make their own seasonal craft to take home. \n\n\n\nThis program is geared for young children ages 7 and under. Caregivers are required to stay for the program. Dress for the weather for the hike traversing easy terrain.
