DESCRIPTION:The winter program of Meander & Gander is Simplicity & Turning Inward\, present by Lindsay Knieper\, a longtime student and teacher of movement and mindfulness practices. Each Meander & Gander program will take place outdoors\, be seasonally focused\, and include a moderate hike\, guided meditation\, breathwork\, and time for reflection. No prior is experience necessary.\nParticipants need to be 16 or older. Program costs $15. Suggested things to bring: Notebook or journal\, insulated mug\, a blanket & camp chair\, and weather-appropriate attire.

DESCRIPTION:Celebrate the frosty season at Owen Marina located inside Mahoney State Park. If conditions allow\, participants can ice fish (instruction and gear will be provided). Winter crafts will be available for purchase and our park Naturalists will provide some free nature programs. \nFood specials include a hot dog\, chips and a drink combo for $5; s’mores kit for $2.50 each and hot chocolate and popcorn for $1 each. \nA 2025 Nebraska state park permit is required for entry.
