SUMMARY:Trails Less Traveled
DESCRIPTION:These guided hikes will focus on trails “less traveled” both at Fontenelle Forest and the organization’s other properties. Expect to trek long distances over a variety of terrain. Each guided hike will last for two hours\, covering easy\, moderate\, and strenuous trails. It’s highly recommend bringing a filled water bottle\, hiking shoes\, sunscreen\, and insect repellent. Trekking poles will be provided on a first come\, first serve basis. \nEvent is $10 for members and $18 for non-members. Members must sign in to receive discount. \n2024 schedule \n\nMarch 24 from 10 a.m. to noon (Camp Wa-Kon-Da)\nApril 28 from 1 to 3 p.m. (Wetlands)\nOct. 13 from 1 to 3 p.m. (Neale Woods)\nNov. 9 from 10 a.m. to noon (Fontenelle Forest Nature Center)
