(NOTE: This event was originally scheduled for Nov. 30 but was postponed due to weather). \n\n\n\nSchedule: \n\n\n\n\nSanta’s Sleigh Ride from 1 to 5 p.m. Santa will be in neighborhoods west of 84th Street approximately 1 to 3 p.m. He’ll travel east of 84th Street around 3 to 5 p.m. Santa passes by streets more quickly if no one is outside to greet him. He and his crew will travel more slowly when they come across people. So\, be sure to be waiting outside so he can spot you.\n\n\n\nTree Lighting at Santa’s Workshop from 4 to 6:15 p.m. Santa’s Workshop\, 8305 Park View Blvd.\, opens at 4 p.m.\, so you can arrive early and see the workshop view Christmas lights in Central Park\, see live animals\, listen to Christmas carols and enjoy free cookies\, cocoa and glow necklaces. Santa arrives at 5:45 p.m. The tree lighting takes place at 6 p.m.\, followed by a song and community selfie with Santa (no individual Santa photos).
