I’m so excited BaconFest is back! I went last year with my family and we sampled everything from bacon lasagna to a dessert with bacon, then we played some games with the kids, and then ate more bacon.

BaconFest isn’t just eating bacon, though that’s the best part. There are a lot of activities for kids at BaconFest, plus live music. Photo courtesy Kroc Center
I’m partnering with The Kroc Center to tell you about the Fourth Annual BaconFest Omaha on Sunday, Sept. 18, from 1 to 5 p.m. There’s entertainment, games, pony rides, shopping, face painting, and lots of bacon – in all its tasty forms – included with admission. Due to construction, all activities will be indoors. Having experienced BaconFest2015 in 90+ degree heat, I’m all for the indoors experience!
It’s a fundraiser for the Omaha Kroc Center Scholarship Program, so the money all goes to a great cause.

Bacon lovers love BaconFest. BaconFest is an annual fundraiser at the Kroc Center in Omaha. This year, BaconFest is on Sunday, Sept. 18.
Disclaimer: This post is sponsored by the Salvation Army Kroc Center. All thoughts and opinions about my experience at BaconFest are my own.
