Where: Abrahams branch Omaha Public Library, 5111 N. 90th St.

Cost: FREE, open to elementary aged and tweens, signed parent permission slip required.

Tip: Food provided, where a costume

 

Nano Science Day

When: April 4, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Where: Omaha Children’s Museum, 500 S. 20th St. , Omaha NE

Cost: FREE with museum admission, which is $9, ages 2-59; $8, 60+; FREE for children under 2 and members

 

Easter Extravanza

When: April 4, 1 to 4 p.m

Where: Lauritzen Gardens, First and Bancroft streets

Cost: Garden admission, plus An additional charge of $3 per child is required to participate in the egg hunt and children’s crafts. Admission is $10, adults; $5, ages 6-12; FREE, 6 and younger

 

Apocalyptic Teen Lock-In

When: April 4, 6 to 10 p.m.

Where: W. Clarke Swanson branch, Omaha Public Library, 215 S. 15th St.

Cost: FREE, open to teens and includes pizza and refreshments. Parental permission slip required.

 

National Geographic LIVE’s Pink Boots and a Machete with primatologist Mireya Mayor

When: April 7, 7:30 p.m.

Where: Holland Center, 1200 Douglas St.

Cost: $10 & Up

 

The International Horse Jumping Competition

When: April 9-11 (Thursday, dressage at 5 p.m.; Friday and Saturday, expo at 9 a.m. and competition at 7p.m.)

Where: CenturyLink Center, 455 N. 10th St.

Cost: $19-$45 (expo events, FREE to the public, will feature many interactive displays and activities for all ages)

 

Nebraska Science Festival 2015

PretzCON 2015 Gaming Convention

When: April 10-12; hours are Friday, noon to midnight, Saturday, 8 a.m. to midnight, Sunday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Cost: $20 Early Registration (full weekend), $25 After 3/15, $15; Single Day Admission, FREE for kids under 6

 

Teddy Bear Weekend

16th Annual Bill Steckis Free Baseball Clinic For Kids

When: April 19; game is at 1 p.m., clinic will start approximately 20 minutes after the game ends.

Where: TD Ameritrade Park, 1200 Mike Fahey St.

Cost: FREE, and kids receive a free T-shirt, a free ticket to the Creighton-St. John’s game and free baseball instruction at the clinic.

 

“Mamma Mia!”
