Who here loves The Rose? I’m a big fan, so I’m excited the theater is helping me celebrate the blog’s birthday.

Have you heard about their new season? Holy Wow. Where do I even start?! They’re staging “Charlotte’s Web” – my EARLIEST memory of live theater is this show! I definitely seeing this with Farley.

The The Rose 2014-2015 season to explore:

You don’t have to wait until September for great family theater. In addition to “Leo Lionni’s Frederick,” which runs through April 13, The Rose has two shows to open before their 2013-2014 season concludes, including “Ramona Quimby.”

RamonaYou know Ramona from Beverly Cleary’s books. As Ramona struggles to survive school and her older sister, others in the Quimby family face challenges: Dad’s out of work, Mom’s role in the family is changing and Aunt Bea might move away. Growing up – and keeping her family together – may be the toughest thing Ramona will ever do! It’s recommended for ages 5-11 and runs 60 minutes. It runs April 25 through May 11.

Think your kids will like this show? We’re giving away FOUR tickets to “Ramona Quimby”!

It’s easy to enter. You can get extra entries if you follow us on Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest, plus you can tweet about this giveaway daily for an extra entry each day!

  6. oh, and MY favorite show to watch while the music is performed live is Rocky Horror Picture Show….but if the family was involved, it would be Frozen 🙂

  7. Kris Brun says

    The wizard of oz.

  8. Ticha Rohan says

I’ll say, Stand by Me. It just came to mind, so I’m going with it.

  9. The Wizard of Oz

  10. Beauty and the Beast.

  11. My favorite kids books often involve illustrations which would be difficult to bring to life. I know my kids would enjoy seeing “The Genius Files” brought to life, although that may be hard to do.

  12. I’d have to say Wizard of Oz also.

  13. Cynthia Cover says

okay, I was going to say Grease, but then I say someone said Rocky Horror Picture Show, so I have to go with that!

  14. Austin Powers

  15. Tessa Genners says

    Beauty and the beast!

  16. Amy Williams says

Really, I would be interested in seeing just about ANY movie with the music live… just an added WOW factor if you ask me! A movie and a concert – everyone wins!
Ramona looks awesome and would love to take the family to see it, how fun!
