I’m so excited to have made it to one year of blogging! I wasn’t so sure I’d be able to maintain a blog, full-time job, and, most importantly, be a good wife and mother without half-assing something.

Nothing’s gone up in flames yet, so I’m calling this past year a success.

And so, I want to celebrate this milestone.

What to do, what to do?

Ah, heck. Let’s do a giveaway. Every day.

Please come back to the blog each day this week, read about the fantastic sponsor helping me throw this mega-giveaway and enter to win one of the fabulous prizes. And they are fabulous.

Exploring Red Planet Win

For those who never gave up that dream of space travel – or those with a kid at home who dreams big – National Geographic Live’s Exploring the Red Planet is the show to see this month.

Kobie Boykins

Kobie Boykins

Kobie Boykins is a NASA engineer (not to mention an Omaha native) who will be presenting a fascinating look at Mars on Tuesday, April 22. His enthusiasm for space exploration, Mars in particular, is engaging and infectious – you’ll love this guy!

Boykins worked on the Mars Rovers, so he knows a thing or two about the planet. He’ll talk about his career, show the latest images from Mars and discuss the future of exploration. You and your budding explorers (or nerdy smart friends) will be inspired.

OPA logo_colorExploring the Red Planet is presented by Omaha Performing Arts (full disclosure: I work for Omaha Performing Arts). The speaking engagement is Tuesday, April 22, at 7:30 p.m. at the Holland Performing Arts Center, 1200 Douglas St.

Want to see this show? Win FOUR (4) tickets to see Exploring the Red Planet.

It’s easy to enter. You can get extra entries if you follow us on Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest, plus you can tweet about this giveaway daily for an extra entry each day!
